Combined with bio-based polyol, FH-601000M polyol is a homopolymer diol with a molecular weight of 1000 mainly used for the manufacture of prepolymers for elastomer, coating, adhesive and sealant.
FH-601000M polyol enables the creation of cast elastomers, flexible adhesives and sealants with excellent mechanical properties. Due to its true functionality and low viscosity, it has the potential to reduce the use of more expensive polyols in the overall polyurethane formulation. It also allows the creation of isocyanate prepolymers with low viscosity which can help in reducing or eliminate the use of diluents, and hence the level of VOCs.

Safety considerations
Most FH series polyols generally present no significant hazard in use when simple precautions are followed. However, some FH series polyols are hazardous and before working with these systems it is necessary to understand the hazards involved in handling all of the components and to establish and follow safe work procedures. Material Safety Data Sheets, product literature and safe handling and storage information are available for the polyurethane components supplied by Hug Chem. Recommendations for handling, storage and disposal of any ingredient not furnished by Hug Chem should be acquired from the supplier.
Storage and Packaging
FH-601000M polyol is slightly hygroscopic and may absorb water. Containers should be kept tightly closed and protected from contamination with moisture and foreign materials, which can adversely affect processing. This product can become quite viscous at low temperatures. For ease of handling, storage temperatures between 15°C (59°F) and 60°C (140°F) are recommended.
The shelf life is twelve months after receipt of material by customer, when stored in sealed original containers under conditions stated above.
