Hug Chem FH series is a range of polyester polyols derived from biomass that adds flexibility to polyurethane resins, making it suitable for low temperature and durable products.
When added to polyurethane adhesives and coatings, FH series polyester polyol technology provides unique benefits, such as:
durability,
moisture repellency,
adhesion to a wide range of substrates, and
good chemical resistance.
We also developed bio-based polyols which offer the same benefits and contribute to sustainable product innovation.
Additionally, FH series polyester polyols have a hydrocarbon nature that provides good hydrolytic stability in water-based polyurethane dispersions and offer the following:
good storage stability
process drying time reduction
chemical resistance to attack by moisture
alkali or acid, adhesion improvement on various substrates
excellent outdoor stability
FH series polyester polyol can also be used in copolyimide elastomers to improve UV and thermo-oxidation resistance, impact strength and chemical resistance.

Storage and Packaging
FH-series polyols are slightly hygroscopic and may absorb water. Containers should be kept tightly closed and protected from contamination with moisture and foreign materials, which can adversely affect processing. This product can become quite viscous at low temperatures. For ease of handling, storage temperatures between 15°C (59°F) and 60°C (140°F) are recommended.
The shelf life is twelve months after receipt of material by customer, when stored in sealed original containers under conditions stated above.
200kg nonreturnable steel drums, 1000kg IBC tank made from HWHDPE.
