Combined with bio-based polyol, FH-608000M polyol is a homopolymer diol with a molecular weight of 8000 Da, and with a real functionality close to 2. It is used to make high performance PU adhesives, sealants, and elastomers.
FH-608000M polyol allows the creation of prepolymers with low viscosity which can help to reduce or eliminate the use of diluents and hence the levels of VOCs. This high MW polyol is also used in conventional silane modified polyurethane formulations that find applications in high performance construction sealants. Polyurethane cast elastomers of excellent mechanical and dynamic performance can be manufactured by the use of FH-608000M polyol.

Safety considerations
Most FH series polyols generally present no significant hazard in use when simple precautions are followed. However, some FH series polyols are hazardous and before working with these systems it is necessary to understand the hazards involved in handling all of the components and to establish and follow safe work procedures. Material Safety Data Sheets, product literature and safe handling and storage information are available for the polyurethane components supplied by Hug Chem. Recommendations for handling, storage and disposal of any ingredient not furnished by Hug Chem should be acquired from the supplier.
Storage and Packaging
FH-608000M polyol is slightly hygroscopic and may absorb water. Containers should be kept tightly closed and protected from contamination with moisture and foreign materials, which can adversely affect processing. This product can become quite viscous at low temperatures. For ease of handling, storage temperatures between 15°C (59°F) and 60°C (140°F) are recommended.
The shelf life is twelve months after receipt of material by customer, when stored in sealed original containers under conditions stated above.
