Combined with Hug Chem FH series bio-based polyols, FH-31016 polyol is a modifying polyol which can be used in a wide variety of rigid foam applications and can be formulated using crude MDI, crude TDI, or TDI quasi-prepolymers. FH-31016 is a highly reactive, amine initiated, triol of low equivalent weight with built-in catalytic activity. Formulations containing FH-31016 may be utilized for foaming insulated panels, refrigerators, coolers, doors, or decorative moldings by either pour-in-place or frothing techniques. FH-31016 has good compatibility with common foam ingredients. FH-31016 is not recommended for use in quasi-prepolymer preparations or as the sole polyol component in the preparation of foams.
